Stress Free and Loving Life!

Each moment in this life of ours is precious; however, oftentimes, in the haste and hurried pace that seems to be a factor in present times, we lose this knowledge and need to take a moment to reflect on how important it is to be grateful for all that we have and are in order to be open to receiving all the good that is awaiting us. There are some things that we can do to ensure that we remain stress free and to actually love the life that we are living. First of all, we need to eliminate the greatest disease that much of humanity is suffering from - the disease of more. When we claim that we do not have enough and always want more, we are, in essence, creating a lack mentality. In order to eradicate this thought pattern, we must always be grateful for all the we have, knowing that the universe will provide everything we could ever need or want. If we are always in a state of wanting more, we will never have enough. It is that simple. Everything we could ever desire is ours. Knowing and feeling that to be truth is the basis for having it as a reality. Some other suggestions for maintaining a stress free and joyful life are as follows:

1. Focus on the moment. Don't worry about the past or future, but remain totally in the current moment. Your power is always in this very moment. We cannot change the past and worrying about possible occurrences in the future can only negate our today and waste our valuable energy.

2. Seek out the good in everything and everyone. There is always something positive in every situation and in every person. If we focus on the positive, we will always be in a position of strength. If we are going through a difficult time, we must rest assured that there is good to be found in that situation. We learn the most from our difficulties and if we remind ourselves that there is good within the situation we are faced with, it will always be easier to bear. When we have negative feelings toward another human being, it is probably because that person is not being who we want them to be. That is about us, not them. We need to let go of our expectations of others and we will also let go of the disappointment that we feel they cause us.

3. Stop trying to be in control. We cannot control others and we cannot control outcomes. If we always do what we feel is the next right thing, right things will happen. Attempting to exert power and control over others or over situations which are not ours to control will always cause us to lose control and feel powerless. Don't give away your power and control. Let others be who they are and be who you truly are. This will always serve you to your highest good.

4. Enjoy the beauty which surrounds you. There is beauty all around us. Instead of looking to criticize and pick out flaws, choose to see what is good and perfect. It is everywhere. We can choose to see the good or the bad. Choosing to see the negative will put us in a negative state of mind. When we choose to see the good, we will always be in a positive mental reference.

5. Visualize your perfect life often and with feeling. We will always receive that which we focus on the most. Focus on what you want to be true, rather than on what you don't want. Focus on your truth and believe in it and it will be yours, always and forever.

Henry David Thoreau Quotes

Henry David Thoreau Quotes: "As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.

Gratitude Quotes Gratitude Quotations Gratitude Sayings Wisdom Quotes: "Melodie Beattie:
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity.... It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow."

He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much; who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of little children; who has filled his niche and accomplished his task; who has left the world better than he found it, whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem, or a rescued soul; who has never lacked appreciation of earth's beauty or failed to express it; who has always looked for the best in others and given them the best he had; whose life was an inspiration; whose memory a benediction.
